For this tutorial you will need:
Paint Shop Pro 8 ~ download a trial version here.

Eye Candy 3.1

Fantastic Machine's Paint Engine ~ download here.

My selections and tubes file ~ download here.

Let's begin.  Open a new transparent image  500 X 600:

Add a new Raster Layer and name it treetop.

Go to Selections > Load from Disk > and click on treetop.sel. and flood fill with #176717 and go to Selectons > Modify > Contract by 2 then flood fill with Color #1A8D07 and go to Selections > Modify > Expand by 2. Go to Effects > Plugins > EyeCandy > Jiggle and apply these settings:

Deselect.  Your tree should look like mine.

Add a new Raster Layer and name it firtop.  Go to Selections > Load from Disk and select treetop.sel.  Add your wreathmaker tube (thank you Ronni for allowing me to use your tube!)  with scale set at 35.  Go to Effects > Plugins > EyeCandy > Jiggle and use the same settings as before.  Select None.  Go to Effects  > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow and use these settings:

Go to Layer Palette and duplicate firtop layer.  Go to Image > Mirror   and with your Mover tool    position the duplicate layer and then lower the opacity to 80%.

Now we are going to merge the layers.  Go to your Layer Palette and turn off Layer 1 and go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.
