For this tutorial you will need the following:

PSP 8: download a   trial version.

RCS Filters:  download here.

RCS Filters:  unzip and place in your PSP  Plugins folder.

Place the two dll files in your System folder.

Open a new transparent  image 400 X 400:

1. Flood fill with white or a light pastel color.

2. Now take the tube that you will place on the bg tile and using the dropper tool in PSP select 2 or 3 colors.  Then using the airbrush tool in PSP spray several blotches of each color on the white bg tile.

3.  Now go to Effects> Plugin Effects > RCS Filter Pak 1.0 > and select Sequins and apply.

4. Now all there is left to do is apply your tube.  Copy and paste your tube to a new raster layer in case you need to resize the tube to fit the tile.  There you have it.  Simple now wasn't it?  This tube I resized 80% and added a drop shadow and then merged all layers visible.  Then I applied a mask.

Hope you had fun creating your easy Sequin Tile Background.  Please feel free to email  me  if you encounter any problems.
