Paint Shop Pro 8 ~ download a trial version here.

 My selections file ~ download here.

 

Place the selections in your Selections Folder.  If you do not have a Selections Folder now is a good time to make one.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN OR BETTER YET SET YOUR PSP 7  TO THE AUTOSAVE OPTION.  To do this open PSP 7 go to File > Preferences > Autosave Settings > and check box Enable Autosave for how many ever minutes you want it to repeat saving your image.

Let's begin.  Open a new transparent image  540 X 720.  

 

Add a new Raster Layer and name it bootsole.

Go to Selections > Load from Disk > and click on bootsole.sel. and flood fill with black  and go to Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel and used the Round setting:

 

Deselect.

Add a new layer and name it boot.   Load from Disk> boot.sel and floodfill with #C00000 and go to Selections > Invert  and Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow and apply these settings:

then reapply the drop shadow using minus 4 (-4) V& H.

 Deselect

Add a new layer and name it boot fur.  Load from Disk> inner bootfur.sel and open your tube palette and use the Clouds tube scale  100% and keep applying until you get the desired texture you want. Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel and apply these settings:

  Deselect.

Add a new layer and name it left paw.  Load from Disk> left paw.sel and floodfill with #F6C671and go to Selectons > Invert > and then Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow and apply these settings:

and reapply the drop shadow changing the V & H to minus 4 (-4).

 Deselect
