Add a New Raster Layer and name it hair and Load from Disk> hair.sel and flood fill with black and go to Selections> Modify> Contract by 2 and flood fill with your white.  Leave selected. Go to Effects>  Textures Effects> Texture> and use these settings:

Deselect.

Add a New Raster Layer and name it hat fur.  Load from Disk> hatfur.sel and change both your foreground and background colors to white and flood fill with white.  Leave selected.  Now we are going to Effects> Plugins> Eye Candy> Jiggle and use these settings:

Deselect.

Add another New Raster Layer and name it hat.  Load from Disk> hat.sel.  Change your foreground to black and flood fill then go to Selections> Modify> Contract by 2 and change your background color to red, the fouth color on the chart and flood fill the selection.  Deselect.

Add a New Raster Layer and name it pompom and Load from Disk> pompom.sel and flood fill with white and apply the same Jiggle as you did for the hat fur above.  Deselect.

This is what you should have so far:

Okay now would be a good time to take a break and stretch.  Grab a drink and a snack and we will soon put the finishing touches on our Old St. Nick.

Ready to get started again?  Let's begin with adding....you guessed it....a New Raster Layer and name it beard.  Load from Disk> beard.sel and flood fill it with black.  Go to Selections> Modify> Contract by 2 and flood fill with white.  Deselect.
