I have saved the hardest part until last.

Add a new layer at the top of your layer pallet and name it shadow.

Choose your Selection tool with these settings:

 

Draw a narrow rectangle at the bottom edge of the hutch top.  See image below:

 

Now go to Selections > Invert and apply this drop shadow:

 

Selections > Select None.

Now duplicate this shadowing layer and using the Mover tool move the copy just above

 the first shadowing layer.  Now this is the order your layers should appear in your layer

 palette:

Now if you are satisfied with your hutch you may merge


all layers visible and resize your image and tube or save your hutch as a jpg or gif.

 

Feel free to decorate your hutch any way you wish.  And also the wood fills  and

 hardware were just a suggestion...feel free to use whatever you want to build your
