Place the selections in your Selections Folder and the three
wood patterns and hardware tube you may open in PSP 7. 

 

Let's begin.  Open a new transparent image  700 X 900.  Flood fill with #808080 as this

 makes is easier to work with.  You can change this color later or delete this layer

 altogether at the end.

 

Add a new Raster Layer and name it baseboard.

Go to Selections > Load from Disk > and click on baseboard.sel.

Set your pattern fill to wood_jcw.jpg,  flood fill the selection.

Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel and apply these settings:

Selections > Float.

Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout > these settings:

Selections > Select none.

(If you find that you have jagged edges before your deselect:
Selections > Invert.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1
Hit the Delete key then
Selections > Select None.
