Page 2 Now let's make the stem. Make your foreground color null and your background #2C9A2C. Using your Preshapes
tool set at: Draw a narrow rectangle like this.
Click Objector Selector on your Tool Bar and then in your Tool Options box click on Node Edit. Take the bottom left node and pull out and down slightly to give an angle to the bottom. Then click the node edit again in the Options box. Hold down the Ctrl on your keyboard grab the top right node and slightly move inward narrowing the stem at the top like this:
When you are happy with your image convert to a raster layer. Using your mover tool move the stem into position and then move this layer to the bottom. Now we are going to add cutouts to give more depth to our 4 leaf clover. Open your layer palette and highlight Layer 2. Selections > Select All Selections > Float Effects > 3D
Effects > Cutout > These settings: Repeat the cutout with all of the solid colored leaves and the stem. Hide Layer 1 and merger all visible layers. Congratulations you survived this easy vector tutorial and your finished image should resemble mine:
